
My antidote to being frenetic indoors is to sit in stillness outdoors.
Barely well enough dressed for conditions and sitting with as much direct contact with the ground as possible. With a cup of coffee. I sit and stay in that minor discomfort for as long as possible.
The act solves unsolvable problems and it drains a fuzzy and ill-defined layer of stress.
It reminds me of exactly what I am and what I am a part of.
